Bringing the Intrigue Across America Tour to the iconic Crystal Plaza was an experience steeped in elegance, glamour, and floral drama. With glittering chandeliers, gold gilded details, and soaring ceilings, this opulent venue provided the perfect canvas for a day of hands-on design and bold creativity.

There’s something magical about gathering in a space so grand—the energy was electric, the designs were over-the-top, and the passion for floral artistry was undeniable. From lush floral installs to sparkling moments of connection, this stop was a showstopper in every way.

Day 1 - Social Media for Luxury Florists & Big Mistakes

Day One in New Jersey was all about vision, visibility, and leveling up. Inside the glittering ballroom of Crystal Plaza, attendees gathered for a powerful, business-focused session designed to help luxury florists take their social media strategy to the next level. With her signature passion and real-talk approach, Sarah shared expert insights on how to spark viral moments, increase brand visibility, and connect with high-end clients in meaningful ways. Every lesson was packed with tangible takeaways, giving attendees the tools they need to show up boldly and beautifully online.

After a lovely lunch break under crystal chandeliers, the day shifted into a deeper, more personal rhythm as Sarah opened up about some of her biggest business mistakes. Her honesty and humor reminded everyone that behind every polished brand is a journey of pivots, growth, and lessons learned.

It was a day of clarity, confidence, and the empowering reminder that every misstep can lead to something extraordinary.

Day 2 - Luxury Floral Installation Masterclass

As creativity filled the air, our students didn’t just watch the magic unfold—they made it happen. With vision, skill, and a whole lot of heart, they crafted two LARGE unforgettable luxury floral installations—each one a bold expression of color, texture, and next-level design. These weren’t just arrangements—they were floral statements, and every stem told a story.

Our first installation of the day was a true floral takeover—and we loved every inch of it. The iconic stone gazebo at Crystal Plaza was completely transformed as students from @intrigueteaches covered it in layers upon layers of blush, coral, and soft peach blooms. Florals draped from every curve, spilled from the roofline, and wrapped around every column, creating an immersive, romantic ceremony backdrop that felt both opulent and enchanting.

This wasn’t just a floral accent—it was an all-out floral statement. Lush, lavish, and absolutely unforgettable.

The second installation brought drama, elegance, and pure floral fantasy to life in the Crystal Plaza ballroom. Towering centerpieces overflowing with vibrant corals, punchy pinks, and glowing oranges anchored each table, while delicate tulips appeared to rain down from above, adding movement and magic to the space. Each table, styled with rich velvet or romantic floral linens, created a layered look that was both opulent and whimsical. It was a celebration of color, scale, and storytelling—floral design at its most enchanting.

FUN FACT: There was so much sun and brightness at our venue that everything seemed happy. Including the Gerber daisies which seem to be making a great comeback in the wedding industry.

After day 2 wrapped, the Styled Shoots Across America photographers came in to photograph all of the beautiful florals and decor, along with the help of stunning models. Attendees of the workshops get full access to all professional photos once galleries are completed, which means hands were filled with flowers, minds with inspiration, and portfolios with photos!
