Raleigh, you were absolutely magical! Bringing the Intrigue Across America Tour to the charming Donovan Manor was an experience filled with warmth, creativity, and breathtaking floral artistry. This gorgeous two-story venue, with its stunning front porches and timeless Southern charm, provided the perfect backdrop for a day of hands-on design, color exploration, and pure floral magic. And oh, was it pretty in pink! Shades of blush, light pink, and soft rose filled the space in an abundance of blooms, creating the most dreamy, romantic atmosphere. There’s something truly special about gathering in Raleigh—the kindness, eagerness to learn, and undeniable passion for florals made this stop unforgettable. From immersive floral installations to those inspiring one-on-one moments with Sarah, every detail of the day was infused with beauty and excitement.

Day 1 - Social Media for Luxury Florists & Big Mistakes

Day One in Raleigh was pure magic—perfect weather, bright blooms, and the most joyful group of attendees! From the moment we gathered at Donovan Manor, the energy was electric. With notebooks open and minds ready to soak in every detail, our luxury florists dove into a powerful business session designed to help them elevate their brands and attract high-end clients through social media. Sarah, with her signature enthusiasm, shared expert strategies for creating viral moments, increasing visibility, and turning passion into profit. The excitement in the room was contagious, as attendees eagerly absorbed each insight and brainstormed ways to put them into action.

After a lovely lunch break outside, enjoying the crisp North Carolina air, the conversation turned reflective. Sarah shared some of the biggest challenges she’s faced in her career and how those experiences shaped her success. It was an open and honest look at the real journey of building a thriving floral business, reminding everyone that setbacks are simply stepping stones to something greater.

Day 2 - Luxury Floral Installation Masterclass

As the creative energy soared, our students didn’t just observe the magic—they brought it to life! With passion and precision, they designed three+ breathtaking luxury floral installations, each one a dreamy symphony of soft blush pinks, warm peaches, and delicate greenery. The result? A collection of ethereal, romantic masterpieces that felt as light and airy as a whispering breeze through the blooms. Every petal placed was a reflection of their artistry, turning the space into a floral wonderland of elegance and charm.

Our first installation of the day was nothing short of a two-story floral dream. 🌸✨ The grand facade of Donovan Manor became the perfect canvas for a breathtaking ceremony backdrop, where climbing greenery and delicate bunches of blush and pink florals cascaded along the columns and railings. The romantic palette blended seamlessly with the venue’s Southern charm, creating an enchanting, garden-inspired masterpiece. And for a bold, unforgettable touch? Two oversized paper flowers made a striking statement, adding whimsy and artistry to this already jaw-dropping design. Every detail felt straight out of a storybook, setting the perfect tone for a day filled with floral magic!

Our second installation was the definition of elegance and grandeur. A breathtaking long tablescape stretched before us, adorned with gigantic elevated floral centerpieces that seemed to float effortlessly down the middle of the table. The airy, ethereal blooms created a sense of movement, drawing the eye from one lush arrangement to the next in perfect harmony. And just when we thought it couldn’t get more magical, floral chandeliers adorned with cascading roses added a dreamy, romantic touch from above. The combination of height, texture, and soft, blush-toned florals transformed the space into an elevated garden fantasy, proving once again that floral design is as much about artistry as it is about emotion.

Our third and final installation was the cherry on top of an already magical day! 🍒✨ The spiral staircase at Donovan Manor became a work of art as gentle vines and soft pink florals wove their way up the railing, adding a touch of romance and whimsy to the grand space. The roses seemed to float effortlessly up the stairs, creating a natural, graceful movement that felt like a fairytale unfolding. And because we just couldn’t resist adding more beauty, we also adorned the fireplace mantle with a lush floral installation, bringing warmth and elegance to the space. It was the perfect finishing touch to a day filled with floral artistry, creativity, and endless inspiration!

Fun Fact: The weather was absolutely perfect, the joy was overflowing, and with so many familiar faces from past events, it felt like a fabulous floral reunion!

After day 2 wrapped, the Styled Shoots Across America photographers came in to photograph all of the beautiful florals and decor, along with the help of stunning models. Attendees of the workshops get full access to all professional photos once galleries are completed, which means hands were filled with flowers, minds with inspiration, and portfolios with photos!
