Day 1 - Social Media for Luxury Florists & Big Mistakes

Day One in Dallas was bold, bright, and full of momentum. Set inside the stunning Hillside Estate, with its grand staircase, sun-filled rooms, and timeless Southern charm, this stop brought together a passionate group of floral professionals ready to elevate their businesses and embrace fresh inspiration. The day kicked off with an energizing business session led by Sarah, focused on building visibility, attracting luxury clients, and creating content that converts. Every conversation sparked ideas, laughter, and the kind of clarity that only comes from being surrounded by people who get it.

After a lively lunch break, the room shifted into deeper reflection. Sarah shared her journey—the highs, the pivots, and the lessons learned along the way. The group met her honesty with vulnerability of their own, creating a safe and encouraging space for real growth.

Dallas brought the fire. From the conversations to the creativity, there was a buzz in the air that left every attendee walking away with renewed drive, fresh strategy, and a little Texas-sized confidence to carry home.

Day 2 - Luxury Floral Installation Masterclass

As creativity bloomed in Dallas, our students didn’t just design—they breathed life into The Hillside Estate. Surrounded by natural light and classic architectural beauty, they created luxury floral installations that felt like spring itself. Soft shades of lavender and buttercup danced through the space, spilling over staircases and accenting ceremony scenes with effortless charm.

Each bloom was placed with purpose, each design a blend of refinement and seasonal joy. The result? A floral experience that was fresh, elegant, and full of heart—an unforgettable celebration of growth, artistry, and the beauty of the season.

Our first installation of the day was a grand welcome—a stunning floral staircase that greeted guests with softness, scale, and springtime beauty. Students adorned the sweeping entry with lush layers of florals in lavender, buttercup, and blush tones, allowing blooms and vines to spill gracefully over the railings and climb toward the second floor. Two oversized paper flowers added an unexpected artistic flair, bringing dimension and whimsy to the design. The result was a breathtaking blend of elegance and creativity—an inviting statement that set the tone for a day filled with color, connection, and floral artistry.

Our second installation in Dallas was a ceremony scene straight out of a dream. Set in the sun-drenched chapel at The Hillside Estate, students designed a breathtaking floral aisle that led to a one-of-a-kind focal point: a white grand piano, overflowing with blooms. Shades of lavender, blush, buttercup, and soft peach spilled from the piano’s top and cascaded down the steps, creating a symphony of spring color and texture. Floral mounds lined the aisle on both sides, each one carefully layered with seasonal blooms like tulips, allium, stock, and delphinium—giving the feeling of a meadow growing indoors. With the light streaming through the tall windows and florals stretching in every direction, the space felt ethereal, elevated, and full of life. It was a ceremony design that hit all the right notes—elegant, unexpected, and completely unforgettable.

Our third and final installation was a romantic courtyard reception setup that captured the essence of springtime elegance. Set beneath twinkling café lights in the open air, the long table was draped in soft patterned linens and adorned with layers of pastel florals—from delicate buttercup yellows to gentle lavenders, blush, and peachy tulips.

Candlesticks and vintage glassware added texture and glow, while blooms overflowed down the center of the table like a garden in full celebration. With the sunshine pouring in and the charm of The Hillside Estate all around us, the entire scene felt inviting, joyful, and utterly timeless—a perfect close to a day filled with floral creativity and connection.

FUN FACT: SO many flowers - stunning flowers with lots of movement and texture. Very spring vibes which felt so fitting for the changing seasons. The aisle and tablescape felt like fresh budding spring gardens. We did SO MUCH designing and everything turned out PERECT - we covered floral design "from top to bottom" literally.

After day 2 wrapped, the Styled Shoots Across America photographers came in to photograph all of the beautiful florals and decor, along with the help of stunning models. Attendees of the workshops get full access to all professional photos once galleries are completed, which means hands were filled with flowers, minds with inspiration, and portfolios with photos!
